The Universal Motor Pod is an important part of the Foil Drive setup.  It must be used with the custom Mast Adaptors that are specific for your exact foil mast.

The key differences of the v2 pods are:

• New construction featuring a three-piece outer shell, called the Universal Motor Pod PLUS a two-piece internal component called the Mast Adaptor. All units will now come with the Universal Motor Pod and your customer will need to specify their mast for the Mast Adaptor.
• Not only is the new design stronger, but it makes the mast adaptor more cost-effective, and easier to stock. once a customer owns the Universal Motor Pod , they simply need to purchase new Mast Adaptors.
• These components MUST be used together, they cannot be used alone.
