The GOLD sails can also be used on RDM mast 100% and 80% from 5.7 to 7.8 From 5.7 to 7.8 an RDM mast will increase softness of the rig, often more suitable to light sailor

Just tested the new Goldline 6.3, 7 and 7.8 at Manly and Army bay. I noticed better control in the stronger gusts and more stability in general. I was able to keep thrashing with the 7 when the others were out of control, which is what I want on race day. Less Xply equals less weight which is good for planing out of those congested gybes. Build quality is top notch as usual. Overall a stable foil to cope with a huge wind range, but it's no inert dog, there's the Goldline's trademark liveliness that puts a smile on your face.

Picked up a 10m Gold Line today and took it out for a test. Firstly this sail was extremely easy to rig, fits perfectly on the 520 100% carbon mast, the cams fit nicely and rotate on the mast perfectly. One the water the sail was comfortable and easy to gybe, feels smaller than it actually is. Not much wind when i took it out but did get planning easily, as Dave said there is plenty of low down power. this sail is well constructed, has lots of xply and looks great. looking forward to putting it to the test in decent wind. Super happy, highly recommend

Just tested 7.8: nicely powered. Easy to rig and de-rig. Cams rotated really nicely. Plenty of power low down, great acceleration. nice to gybe. The construction looks good quality and durable (this may make it slightly heavier than norm due to strong materials, specially all that x-ply) but it was pleasantly light with the 100 carbon mast. Really happy.
