  For OFS800™, extreme breathability and waterproofness was the priority. It is provided by a unique composite of eVent® membrane technology enabling best in class breathability with the ability to dynamically regulate temperature through fast moisture evaporation. Used by military institutions world-wide this material technology is not only highly breathable but incredibly robust, ensuring the garment is durable enough withstand the rigours of offshore sailing and provide extended waterproofness across the usable life of the garment.
  
  The critical difference between eVent® technology and traditional breathable waterproof fabrics is the Direct Diffusion technology with millions of microscopic pores built into the proprietary membrane that instantly begin venting water vapour (sweat) that builds up inside your gear during activity.

  This technology utilises a unique composite of materials to provide unrivaled breathability. Unlike other technologies, it doesn’t need to get wet to work. It is a ‘dry system’ that allows eVent® fabrics to be fully waterproof and fully breathable – keeping you dry and comfortable in the widest range of temperatures and conditions.
